Suzuki GSX-R description
2006 GSX-R 1000. 8,124 Low miles for year. NEVER BEEN LAYED DOWN!! This bike runs great, had tires replaced about 500 miles ago. This bike was never used for stunts. As you will see in pictures bottom of right fair is broke, not real noticeable unless looking for it. I hit a piece of tractor trailer tire at about 80mph on highway at night. The bike has a bolt on 9.5" swing arm extension and lowering links. I installed HID lights in both hi/low beam. I will also throw in a motorcycle cover. Contact me with any questions!

Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory
Tue, 06 Nov 2012The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.

Mon, 06 Sep 2010It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.
Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.
Wed, 06 Jun 2012I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
