Suzuki GSX-R description

Up for sale is my 2005 GSX-R600 motorcycle. This bike has just over 19K miles on it currently. It runs and rides fine. Has Pirelli tires with plenty of life left in them. No leaks of any kind. It has a Jardine pipe on it and I just installed a brand new windshield as well as a brand new 520 pitch conversion sprockets and chain kit. Also I have installed the fender eliminator license plate bracket with LED plate light. It does have a few scratches/scuffs and a small cracked area on the right hand lower fairing and up near the right hand side of the windshield, see pics. Average retail is nearly $6500 and Low retail is $4900. It's not in pristine condition so I am not asking pristine amount of money for it. I also ahve it for sale locally. I have the clean and current title in hand. Must go now! I have had too many 'no shows' and 'be backs'. Serious bidders only! Any questions please ask! Thanks!

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.

Donington Park and the Roman rebel.

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

We know the sun always shines on the righteous and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at Donington Park. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
