2003 Suzuki Gsx-R 1000, I have had this bike since '03. If you are a sport bike or Suzuki fan then you know that the 1000 back then was made right! She is fast. Great condition, every season starts and rides like a champ, never one issue. I have only put 9200 miles on it, ORIGINAL BRAKES. I never rode all that much and as of late have not had time AT ALL. Awesome deal on a great bike that will be great for another 10-15 years with a good owner/rider. After market pipe, after market tail kit, carbon fiber levers, carbon fiber end caps, tires still have some nubs on them. Call me @ 631.513.5614 to come see it and make me an offer. Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas
Fri, 04 Jan 2013AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.
New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750
Fri, 25 Mar 2011ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system. Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.
