2002 SUZUKI GSX-R 750

My son is selling his 2002 Suzuki with only 9,740 miles, due to finances for college. He is the second owner and has owned the motorcycle for the past 7 months. The first owner kept the original Owner's Manual and receipts, which will be included with the sale. The receipts are for any scheduled maintenance or modifications done, which includes a full Yoshimura Exhaust, a Fender Eliminator Kit, and Frame Sliders. The previous owner kept the motorcycle in the garage, and my son has continued to do the same.  Keeping up with the proper maintenance, the oil is changed every 2500 miles and the chain is oiled every 300 miles.  The motorcycle has never been dropped or hit against anything; no dents or scratches.  Overall this motorcycle is in excellent and amazing condition with low miles.  The seat has no tears or rips, and the motorcycle has been well maintained.  If you require further pictures or have any questions please contact via eBay messages.  If you are in the area, you can stop and see the motorcycle. Tags are due in May 2014 and Title is clean.

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

A little while ago, Honda revealed a 130mph tractor lawn mower with an engine from a Superhawk. Along a similar vein is the Isle of Man’s Garage Insanity with a mobility scooter equipped with a 600cc inline-four engine from a Suzuki Katana. According to Garage Insanity, the mobility scooter has a theoretical top speed of 140mph given enough running room, though in practice, it’s only been timed at 102.2 mph over a quarter-mile.

It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.
