This is a 1991 Suzuki gsxr 1100 with only 19,421 miles on it. The bike runs and rides great, I had the carbs cleaned and the oil changed at begining of the spring. The bike has a red wind sceen, tank bra, Yoshimura exhaust, and the seats were covered with velour and the rims were painted red and had the edges polished. This bike has all original paint, and has never been down. The right mid fairing has a small chip spot about the size of a pencil eraser in the red by the vent, and the rear fender and mud gaurd have wear on them from the tire rubbing because the bike was lowered before and rubbed when riding a passenger. Another Teaser for New “Middle-class” Suzuki Motorcycle
Tue, 07 Jun 2011Suzuki has released a another teaser for its upcoming “Middle-class New Motorcycle”. We wrote about the previous teaser last week, speculating the new motorcycle is an updated Suzuki V-Strom, possibly a V-Strom 650 with a retuned version of the Gladius’ engine. A commenter named Steven suggested it might be a V-Strom 1000 instead.
John Hopkins Ready for Comeback
Sat, 08 Feb 2014When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.
Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer
Wed, 20 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.
