This is a 1991 Suzuki gsxr 1100 with only 19,421 miles on it. The bike runs and rides great, I had the carbs cleaned and the oil changed at begining of the spring. The bike has a red wind sceen, tank bra, Yoshimura exhaust, and the seats were covered with velour and the rims were painted red and had the edges polished. This bike has all original paint, and has never been down. The right mid fairing has a small chip spot about the size of a pencil eraser in the red by the vent, and the rear fender and mud gaurd have wear on them from the tire rubbing because the bike was lowered before and rubbed when riding a passenger. Tue, 21 Feb 2012Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.
Kevin Schwantz Tests Suzuki MotoGP Bike at COTA
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Former World Champion and Texas native Kevin Schwantz joined the Suzuki MotoGP team at Circuit of the Americas to test its new racebike. Schwantz, who won the 1993 500cc World Championship with Suzuki, joined test riders Randy de Puniet and Nobuastu Aoki in riding the new prototype which is set to enter the MotoGP championship in 2015.
