UP FOR AUCTION IS MY FIRST GENERATION 1987 GSXR 750, BIKE IS 98% STOCK..HAS BEEN SITTING IN MY GARAGE FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS UNUSED AND WOULD LIKE IT GO TO A GOOD HOME... ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO I HAD A LOCAL BIKE SHOP REPLACE THE FORK SEALS,TIMING CHAIN,HEAD SET BEARINGS,INSTALL A MANUAL TIMING CHAIN AN ADJUSTER AND REBUILD THE SLAVE CYLINDER.. I PUT A JUMP BOX ON THE BIKE TODAY AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP..... BUT CARBS ARE GUMMED UP FROM SITTING AND WILL NEED A GOOD CLEANING, BATTERY IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD ALSO BUT WILL NEED REPLACING.. PRIOR TO SITTING BIKE RAN EXCELLENT,SHIFTED FINE ,ALL LIGHTS WORK AS THE SHOULD ETC AND I RODE IT EVERYWHERE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES..THIS BIKE WILL BRING UP A CONVERSATION ANYWHERE YOU STOP AND IS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST TO RIDE AS IT IS VERY QUICK AND LIGHT
THE BODYWORK HAS SCRATCHES ,DINGS AND SOME CRACKED PLASTIC (SEE PHOTOS) FUEL TANK NOW HAS SOME SMALL PIN HOLE IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER THAT IS AN EASY REPAIR ...... TIRES ARE LIKE NEW BUT REAR TIRE HAS A LEAK SOMEWHERE AND GOES FLAT AFTER A FEW DAYS OF SITTING. I HAVE THE REAR TURN SIGNALS AND THE PLATE LAMP, BUT NOT THE BLACK PLASTIC COVER, THE TWO TABS WHERE THE REAR DIRECTIONAL MOUNTS WERE TRIMMED OF THE REAR TAIL SECTION AND I HAVE THOSE SOMEWHERE ALSO, JUST HAVE TO DIG AROUND FOR THEM...ORIGINAL TOOL KIT IS UNDER SEAT ALSO.. Why I love BSB's Showdown
Thu, 26 Sep 2013It has lovers, haters and even many that still don't understand it but everyone in British bike racing is currently talking about the BSB Showdown. With my rider's or team manager's hat on, I wasn't convinced when it was first announced in 2010 but I'm now totally converted and enjoy every part of the season as intensity increases. And being a value for money Scot the best thing is you get four championships under one umbrella. Championship # 1; In the early rounds everyone on the grid has aspirations of taking the title but as the season progresses, the focus narrows down to making sure you secure that top six showdown spot over the first nineteen races (riders can also drop their worst two results). Championship #2; For the confident front runners, over these races, the real goal is the podium credit championship (3 for 1st ,2 for 2nd,1 for 3rd) which then gives them a points head start after things are put back to zero for the final seven race shoot-out. Championship #3; The best of the rest championship (7th and below) that will be battled over the final races. Championship # 4; Over the final seven races the British Superbike Champion is crowned. The recent adding and reshuffling a few top name riders for the Showdown has already spiced things up so hold on tight for the remaining five races!

2014 AMA Supercross – Las Vegas Results
Mon, 05 May 2014Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
