Upgraded 36mm Slingshot Carbs with Stage III Jet Kit. Brand new petcock and hoses. Exhaust upgraded from Canadian '87 GSXR 1100. New Paint, decals. Fiberglass body work. Brand new Pirelli Sport Demon tires (chicken strips included). Registration is current through July 2017, California. Bike has been cleaned and gone though every inch. Runs great, starts cold without hesitation. Idles perfect. Tons of fun to ride, true original classic sport bike. No need to baby this bike or keep it in your museum. Bike is fast and handles great. John Hopkins Ready for Comeback
Sat, 08 Feb 2014When last we heard from California racer John Hopkins, the former MotoGP racer announced he would return to British Superbike racing after being out of action for nearly two years due to various injuries. With the 2014 BSB season starting in April, Hopkins spoke with Suzuki’s official racing website to provide an update on his impending return with the Tyco Suzuki team. Hopkins says he has been practicing on a motocross track and is close to a deal with the Yoshimura Suzuki AMA team to test on a Gixxer.

A long-standing racer in Grand Prix, de Puniet has amassed 139 MotoGP race starts and five 250cc GP race wins during his 15 years on the world stage so far. During 2014, he has become instrumental to the development of Suzuki’s 2015 return to GP competition with the all-new GSX-RR.
