  • Condition & History:
Up for sale is a 2008 Suzuki GSX 650 F with a clean and clear title and only 1170 miles on it! The bike runs excellent and needs nothing but a new owner. It is 100% stock and in very good shape both cosmetically and mechanically. The bike has been tipped over once on both sides but does not appear to have ever went down moving.  There are just a few scratches and chips on the fairing and one small crack that was repaired with professional auto body plastic repair epoxy. This is a great economical alternative to its hard edged GSX-R brother. This is basically a much more comfortable version of the GSX-R that can be ridden all day with no discomfort and has a very nice passenger seat for riding two up. This would make an excellent sport touring bike, commuter, weekend back road burner. It has a strong enough motor, suspension, and brakes to even handle track days. This bike was purchased by us from an insurance company and was a theft recovery therefore it is a CLEAN title however they had to brand it non-actual mileage as there was no key when it was auctioned. It does have the ORIGINAL tires from the factory as the date code on the tire shows they were manufactured same year as the bike and they clearly only have 1170 miles on them as does the brakes and chain which proves the bike does truly have 1170 miles.   • Shipping & Payment:
We will ship the bike, however buyer is fully responsible for setting up and paying for all costs associated with shipment and or crating and packaging. We work with several carriers that use enclosed trailers and will deliver door to door without crating the bike or draining fluids. Payment must be made in the form of wire transfer or cash in hand and no other forms of payment will be considered. We require a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 within 24 hours of the auctions end through paypal and will only hold the bike 7 days after the sale. We will work with the buyer to store the bike longer if circumstances do not allow for pickup within the allotted time however they must contact us to arrange that.

We are a small family owned shop that specializes in all Japanese and European motorcycles. We are motorcycle enthusiasts and bikes are our life, therefore we get a lot of very nice pre-owned bikes from friends and family as well as customers. These motorcycles are thoroughly inspected as well as test ridden a minimum of 5 miles, and left to idle long enough for the cooling fan to cycle several times (if liquid cooled) to verify the cooling system functions properly. We test the bike as if we were buying it to keep it for ourselves. If we are aware of a defect we post it as we have driven many hours to look at bikes before to drive home disappointed as the seller did not disclose obvious issues in their ad. Our goal is for the customer to be as happy as we are about the transaction and we welcome any questions or inquiries any time of day, if we don't answer just leave a message. Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory

The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.

Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test

To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.

A LIMITED-EDITION Leon Haslam print has gone on sale and captures the moment the Alstare Suzuki rider took his first World Superbike Championship race victory – at Phillip Island, Australia on February 28 this year. Winning Start has been painted by Isle of Man artist Alan Perkin and the limited edition run of 250 prints are already selling on the online store of Leon Haslam’s website; www.leonhaslam.com. All of the prints are signed by Haslam and Perkin and are priced at £39.95. “Alan Perkin has produced a really nice painting and we wanted to get something out there in advance of Christmas and at an affordable price,” said Haslam. He continued: “The print has pride of place in my house, Phillip Island was my first pole position, my debut on the Alstare Suzuki and my first race win – a memorable start to a great year.” The print measures 630mm x 490mm and is available from the Leon Haslam website or by calling 01332 882584.
