Suzuki GSX / Katana description

1989 Suzuki GSX Katana 750 with under 18,000 miles.
There may be a few other nicer looking Katana's of this age, but none that run better! This bike does still look really good, especially for it's age and hasn't been laid down. Just a couple scrapes and scratches from normal wear.
This bike sat for a long time, which explains it's low miles. A lot of money was spent on it to get it running like it runs now. Everything in the engine was recently professionally done. Carbs were completely cleaned, engine tuned, new fluids, new spark plugs all in the last couple weeks.
All of the expensive add-ons have already been taken care of on this bike including a Jet kit and K&N filter, new pipes, red neon/led lights.
This bike is super-fast and rides REALLY well.

If you are looking for a nice sport bike at a reasonable price, this is the one you want!

A $200 deposit is fine, but the remainder balance must be paid with check, echeck, cash or money order. Chase Quickpay is also fine for payment.

I am happy to work with any shipper the buyer hires to transport the bike and can crate the bike for $85 if needed. Delivery is available for 59 cents per mile, round-trip, from Ashland, OH 44805 as we have a box truck with lift gate to deliver this to it's new location.

First Laps of the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP Racer

Tue, 18 Jun 2013

Suzuki put its new prototype race bike through its first test laps alongside other MotoGP racers in preparation for its impending return to racing in the 2015 season. Test rider Nobuatsu Aoki, who had been playing a key role in the racebike’s development, took the new Suzuki 1000cc Inline-Four prototype out for a few shakedown laps before handing things over to Randy de Puniet who completed the bulk of the testing at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. After a day of testing, de Puniet put up the eighth-best lap time, clocking in at 1:42.676, just 0.772 seconds behind Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo who had the top lap time among all participants. It’s important to note however that Repsol Honda and series leader Dani Pedrosa did not participate in this test.

Inside Look at the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 [video]

Thu, 23 Dec 2010

Suzuki boasts that the GSX-R600 has long been America’s top selling sportbike, so when it undergoes a major overhaul everybody takes notice. For 2011 the GSX-R600 underwent a plethora of big changes, all of which resulted in a weight loss of about 20 pounds. Helping this middleweight supersport shed pounds is a new frame, a 41mm Show Big Piston Fork, radially mounted Brembo monoblock brake calipers, as well as smaller axles and wheel hubs.

Dropped Suzuki Dealerships Represented Only 2.5% of Retail Sales

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.
