Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is the flag-ship sportbike for Suzuki, this video shows how its all put together in Japan.  The 2009 Gixxer liter machine underwent such comprehensive redesign (though it looks remarkably similar to ‘08) that Suzuki refers to the update as “a full model change” which was introduced to us about one-year ago. Celtic Racing To Field Alexander And Farris For 2014 AMA SuperSport

For 2014, Celtic Racing will continue fielding Corey Alexander in AMA SuperSport competition. Joining him will be new teammate, Wyatt Farris. The pair, with support from sponsor Hudson Valley Motorcycles, will be riding Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorcycles with help from Suzuki.
