Description & Comments

Excellent bike for beginners, commuters, or weekend warriors! 500cc engine paired with a 6 speed transmission is capable of maintaining highway speeds at low RPM. Large fuel tank provides 250 mile range. Very low maintenance. All services have been performed by local mechanics. Recently replaced the tires. The low seat height and overall light weight setup inspires confidence. Because the engine is less than 600cc, insurance rates are super low. Smoke windscreen. Tool kit under seat. Bike has been down, but only cosmetic damage. No damage to frame, bars and rims are straight, no tears in the seat, no leaks, all indicator lights/blinkers/headlight/taillight operable, and engine runs like new. Cosmetic damage: fairings, blinkers, levers, and engine scuffs. 12,000 miles. All sales are final. Please message for any questions.

New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system.  Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.

Motorcycle So Big It Needs Training Wheels

Tue, 21 May 2013

Apparently, the American motto of “bigger is better” has struck a chord with someone in China, of all places. This giant beast of a motorcycle measures over 14 feet long and almost eight feet tall, and was built by a Chinese sewage plant worker in his spare time. The motorcycle is so big, it needs outriggers to make sure it doesn’t tip over.
