WSBK: 2012 Miller Results

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Roger Hayden for 2014 AMA Superbike Championship

Roger Hayden has signed on to race the 2014 AMA Superbike season for Yoshimura Suzuki, joining the returning Martin Cardenas and Chris Clark. Hayden spent the last few seasons with the Jordan Suzuki satellite team, finishing fourth overall in 2013 and third in 2012. The 2012 season also saw Hayden earn his only career AMA Superbike victory.

2012 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, V-Strom 1000 Adventure and V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure Announced

Suzuki is bringing back its V-Strom 1000 for 2012 and adding a new U.S.-only  “Adventure” version with luggage. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 is unchanged from its previous version, last offered as a 2009 model. It’s powered by the same 996cc liquid cooled, fuel-injected 90-degree V-Twin engine as the previous model.
