Up for sale is my 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 750cc sport bike. One owner. All regular maintenance kept up with - oil change every season, rear tire replaced a couple years ago, new battery this season, and kept on the trickle-charger every winter.Bike was laid down once in 2008 when I hit a deer. Replaced the front forks and all fairings and gave the bike a custom a custom paint job (Crystal FX) at that time. Bike comes with an extra set of stainless steel brake lines, front brake shoes, and solo seat cowl (not shown in picture).Current mileage is 9,498, which is VERY low for this model year. Bike runs, rides, and drives well. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
