Suzuki GS description

Sold this summer before last - Bought it back recently as the new owner moved up to a Street Triple. Running, riding, clean title and recently inspected.

2006 GS500F with a long list of modifications. Mileage is ~4,400 and will go up still. Full clean/clear title in hand. I originally got this bike as a basket case in 2011 with 130miles on it. I rebuilt the bike with lots of upgrades and parts I had for my previous GS. Too many hours and dollars into this one. The bike runs perfectly, consistently gets 55-60mpg. Condition is 7, has been parking lot dropped once and has a few scuffs to show. Everything is still square, only cosmetic scuffs. See photos for blemishes(scuff on brake lever, exhaust, passenger peg, small chip/dimple in tank, and paint chipping off right headlight). Bike is a great beginner or commuter bike. I still ride the bike when the weather is nice, no issues and is ready to ride. Open to all offers.

Here's a list of some of the parts installed;
-Aztec8 5-3/4" dual headlights with fly screen
-Rebuilt front end with new seals and Sonic springs w/15w oil
-Stainless Steel front fork brace
-Stainless Steel Stator cover
-OEM clip on style handlebars
-LSL clutch and front brake levers(only plug and play adjustable levers available for the GS)
-Black SS braided lines(front and rear)
-EBC front brake rotor
-R6 throttle(shorter throttle pull vs the stock GS)
-Gel Progrips
-Full Jardine exhaust
-K&N 'lunchbox' filter
-Rejetted carbs for the intake/exhaust(147.5/65/20)
-Gimbel Rearsets and passenger pegs(moved foot position into more aggressive sport bike position)
-R6 rear shock
-Battleax BT003 tires with probably a couple thousand miles left on them.
-New chain and front/rear sprockets(stock gearing currently on the bike)
-GS500 chain cover

$2,000, or best offer. Feel free to call or text; 252-542-8648

Would trade for two stroke moto's. Mainly interested in two stroke suzuki street bikes, but will entertain yamaha or kawasaki.

University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.

Isle of Man TT 2013: Dainese Superbike Race Results

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

It was delayed by a day but the Isle of Man TT’s Dainese Superbike race finally went underway Sunday. Originally scheduled to open the 2013 Isle of Man TT, the race was pushed back a day because poor weather earlier in the week prevented proper practice and qualifying. Even then, the Superbike race was delayed 45 minutes from its rescheduled start time due to a traffic accident.
