This bike is in attractive condition, very clean, needs nothing. Have original one owner Colorado title. It only has 23k miles on it. Performance goodies...Kerker pipe, K&N air filter, hipo mono shock and fork brace an Ferdo disc brake pads. Have all original parts, see photo. Newer battery and Metzeler tires. Fresh oil service. Has tool kit and manual. Radar detector and bike cover. This bike is fun, I get a lot of attention when I ride this bike. If you have never ridden 1 of these its a gas! When these came out they killed it at the track. No wonder, not only did they have all kinds of never before hipo high tech stuff, they were 60 to 100 pounds. less than the other guys! Hopkins Breaks Hand in Testing Crash – Yes, THAT Hand

Crescent Fixi Suzuki racer John Hopkins has broken a bone in his right hand during the first day of testing at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger. Hopkins high-sided entering a corner riding a 2011-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 (the 2012 superbike was not yet ready).

2009-2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recalled for Side Stand Interlock Switch

Suzuki is issuing a recall for 2009-2011 GSX-R1000 because of a potential failure of the side stand interlock switch. The interlock switch is what cuts off the ignition circuit on a motorcycle when the side stand is down and the transmission is in any gear except neutral. Its purpose is to prevent a motorcycle from moving with the stand deployed.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
