Suzuki GS description

For sale, 1983 SUZUKI GS 1100 E rolling frame (with title). Just finished this bike ,it was put together with intention to ride on highway.I cut off all old mounts that were not needed , TIG welded on new ones to mount custom adjustable swing arm with working single rear shock . GSXR foot peg assm. I used 2001 GSXR wheels , 2007 front end and brakes .Had body work custom painted PPG base / clear coat . Paint is slick as glass. Note side covers held on with zeus fasteners . These baby's wont blow off now ! Also comes with 84 GS 1150 motor . Motor has Falicon knife edged polished crank with Falicon rods , straight cut 1100 primary gear , and big end (starter clutch side). Billet clutch basket with matching straight cut gear,MTC lock up clutch . M.R.E. pro cut transmission , APE case studs and nuts ,APE cylinder studs and nuts. 1500cc Big Block , high volume oil pump gears , (COPE RACING 31mm - 27mm valve Pro head with apoxy , that was almost 3 grand). I slipped covers off motor so I could take pics. I guarantee motor and its parts to be in perfect order.Over $12,000 invested in motor . Only has about 30 Min. run time. Motor did not have hardened rocker arms . So almost immediately after starting motor, cam lobes were damaged .430 in & 410 ex. were a little to big for street ! Oh well , live and learn . I replaced rocker arms with new stock ones that can be hardened at Megacycle Cams in Texas . And have GSXR cams to replace the bad ones . Also included , Vance & Hines Gold Label side winder exhaust. The crank shaft and clutch basket (NEW) cost what I'm asking for everything. For an additional $250.00 fee . I'll be glad to reassemble motor put in frame , pick up motorcycle crate from local dealer , crate bike & parts up ready for freight shipping. you can make arrangements to have crate picked up and shipped to you.If there is any additional information you need , or something specific you would like a picture of let me know . Also willing to sell motor separate . I can reassemble motor and strap it to a palate . Buyer would be responsible for freight cost and pick up from freight company . You call freight co. tell them you have palate that needs to be picked up . They come to me , I help truck driver load palate and he brings it to your door . Easy pezee . I'm letting this stuff go cheap , I've been an E-Bay member for over 10 years and never had a negative feedback . So bid with confidence !

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

Disasters 'r Us Credit: Photos by Jim Hatch Illustration (photo illustration) It’s important to keep things in perspective; the coronavirus isn’t the first disaster to befall us and you know it won’t be the last. Well, I mean it could be… Wherever you live, you can probably find all kinds of things that have gone spectacularly tits up over the years in your own backyard. The bigger the town, the bigger the pile of massive cock-ups, as the English like to say.
