Suzuki GS tech info

Suzuki GS description
This is a 1982 Suzuki GS450TXZ. I think the Z means it has
wire wheels instead of the cast wheels. I bought it new in 1984, it had been in
the crate for two years. It has always been stored inside. It has under 1800
miles and has never been damaged except for the car door dings on the right
side of the tank. The engine and transmission have never been taken apart. I
have made repairs to the carburetors and the front brake. Last winter I cleaned
it all up and painted the frame, the header pipes, and the spokes. It runs like
new although it has always needed a little warmup when first started. The tires
are original but they still look OK.

Suzuki GW250 Inazuma Reportedly Coming to Canada
Tue, 30 Oct 2012The Suzuki Inazuma is coming to Canada, according to multiple reports. The entry-level motorcycle was displayed at a recent dealer meeting in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, though it appears Canadians may have to wait as bit longer for the Inazuma to arrive in showrooms. According to Canadian sites CMGOnline and MotorcycleMojo, Suzuki is in the initial stages of introducing the 248cc streetbike to Canada, so a 2014 launch may be more likely than 2013 availability.
Behind the scenes in Qatar
Sat, 19 Mar 2011Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.
Chris Ulrich Takes Passengers on Charity Record Ride
Mon, 03 Dec 2012During the eighth annual Roadracing World Action Fund (RWAF) at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, Team M4 Hammer GEICO Suzuki rider Chris Ulrich felled every existing record for a two-up track riding charity event During the course of the two-day event Ulrich, on his GEICO Suzuki GSX-R1000, carried 71 passengers around the Speedway 213 times for a total of 489.9 miles. This beats previous RWAF records for most two-up rides and also sets new fund-raiser records for most laps completed in one day with a passenger (114) and over two days (213), plus the most miles ridden in one day with a passenger (262.2 vs. 248.4) and over two days (489.9 vs. 432.2 miles).
