Suzuki GS description

Classic 1982 Suzuki GS 1100EZ has 57,635 miles on it and is in excellent condition. It does need some cleaning and minor repairs. There is new rubber on the rear, new chain and sprockets Additional parts include 2 extra stock seats, new tire for the front, 4 into 1 header and new chains. The bike runs great but has a slight sputter at idle. (I suspect it needs a carburetor cleaning and sync). The valve cover gasket is leaking oil slightly but has not presented any issues.

Suzuki Suspends Operations at Chinese Factory Over Anti-Japan Sentiments

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

Suzuki has suspended production at one of its motorcycle factories in China as Anti-Japanese protests sweep across the Asian nation. Tensions between China and Japan flared up in late August after the Japanese government announced plans to buy a handful of uninhabited but strategically useful islands. Both nations, as well as Taiwan, claim ownership of the islands, known as the Senkaku Islands to Japan and the Diaoyu Islands to China.

New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system.  Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.
