Suzuki GS description

This is a 1981 Suzuki GS 1100 E "Superbike" that is street legal. Owned and built by the original owner who was an aerospace engineer and 30 year respected racer. Only the best components of the day were used in the build. The bike sat for many years until recently. It was given a fresh battery, the 33 mm Mikuni Smoothbore carburetors were disassembled and sonically cleaned before being reinstalled. New Dunlops were mounted and Fresh oil and filter were added as well as new fork seals and fork oil.  The gas tank (clean /no rust) was drained and fresh fuel was added. The bike fired up instantly and ran as new. The bike pulls as hard as any modern liter bike with stump pulling power. Amazing. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to own an early 1980's, fire breathing superbike, this is it.  It's the real deal, ready to be ridden through your favorite canyons, ridden to a bike night or to compete in a vintage superbike race.

Here are some of the components: Earls oil cooler, custom rear sets, vented ignition cover, 13" Mark Zero front discs,"Lockheed" front calipers, 18" EPM Magnesium wheels, Full stainless Supertrapp exhaust, hand fabricated rear licence plate bracket, Stewart Warner oil temp and pressure gauges. Huge front fork brace, steel braided lines, aircraft fasteners throughout, Gerix multi fire ignition, Accel coil, Fox Superbike shocks, Cal -Fab aluminum swingarm, superbike bars drilled rear disc and relocated caliper. Original seat and paint and the list goes on.

All the recent work was performed by Curt Jordan (Jordan Engineering) and Chris Redpath (Moto GP Werks). Both, professional old school superbike gurus.

A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction (Pay Pal is fine). Cash or wire deposit for the balance within five days.  Shipping and all cost will be the responsibility of the buyer and I will make myself available for the convenience of the shipper.  This motorcycle is for sale only to buyers within the U.S.

This bike is a real piece of history that tells you a story when you look at it and when you ride it, it makes sure you were listening. This motorcycle is absolutely not for an inexperienced or new rider but if you want something unbelievably unique that stands out from the crowd and will put a huge smile on your face, this is it.  Good luck !
