46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

Suzuki GW250 Inazuma Reportedly Coming to Canada

The Suzuki Inazuma is coming to Canada, according to multiple reports. The entry-level motorcycle was displayed at a recent dealer meeting in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, though it appears Canadians may have to wait as bit longer for the Inazuma to arrive in showrooms. According to Canadian sites CMGOnline and MotorcycleMojo, Suzuki is in the initial stages of introducing the 248cc streetbike to Canada, so a 2014 launch may be more likely than 2013 availability.

BSB Champion Alex Lowes Signs with Suzuki WSBK Team

Reigning British Superbike Champion Alex Lowes is moving up to the World Superbike Championship, signing on to race for the Voltcom Suzuki team. The 23-year-old captured the 2013 BSB title for the Samsung Honda team but will now switch to a Yoshimura-prepared GSX-R1000 for the 2014 season, joining Eugene Laverty with the Voltcom Suzuki squad. “This is just mega for me!
