Suzuki GS description
I picked this 850G up last year as a weekend ride. It had about 12,300 miles on it and I changed all the fluids and installed new rubber. I also just recently installed a sealed lead acid battery.
Everything on the bike works as it should including the self cancelling turn signals, the fuel gauge, the lights and horn etc. etc. The seat lock works - there's no tool tray. Mechanically she's very sound and revs properly up to redline. She also tracks very well on the highway at speed. Just a very solid example of this great inline 4 motor. Seat is in great shape with no rips. Cosmetically she's above average as well with some areas as shown in the photos: 1) little scratches on the tank - probably from a tank bag 2) typical pitting of the clear coat on the engine case 3) she fell down at some point in her history - as shown by the crack on the left side of the gauge cluster. No other damage that I can see - all turn signal stalks etc are straight All in all a very nice example of the GS850G - it gets lots of compliments. I've started commuting 60 miles round trip each day so I've bought a new commute bike, that's why I'm letting her go. Title is clear CA and in my name. I can work with your shipper as needed. |

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule
Tue, 19 Jun 2012MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
