Suzuki GS description

I have decided to sell one of my classic motorcycles.

The motorcycle is a 1978 Suzuki GS750E and is painted Red.

The motorcycle is currently driven sporadically. It currently has approximately 17,800 miles. The condition of the bike is driver quality as can be seen in the photographs and video.

The ignition coils have been replaced, the rear caliper has been rebuilt, and the carburetors have been kitted.

I only utilize non-ethanol gasoline and the inside of the tank is clean.

The bike is a fun bike to ride, however, I am finding myself riding less frequently and I am continuing to downsize my collection.

The following video illustrates the condition of the bike as well as the running.

The bike is being sold in "AS-IS" condition and "where-is". While I am happy to try to answer questions or provide more photographs, and I think that this a nice vintage Suzuki that hasn't been cut up by the Cafe Racer crowd,  it is up to any bidder to determine if the condition is to their satisfaction. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact me prior to bidding if you would like to speak live about the bike or to ask any questions.

Once the E-bay sale has completed, there is a $300 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours.

The balance of the amount due is due within 3 business days of the close of the E-bay sale and I will consider Paypal for the balance if the payment is made within 24 hours of the end of the auction as a convenience to the buyer. Otherwise, the terms stated within the payments section will apply.

The bike is expected to be collected upon the transfer of title to buyer. The bike and title will not transfer until all funds have cleared at my bank. Once the funds have cleared, the bike is free to be taken or it may remain in it's current location for no more than three weeks without prior written agreement. I am sensitive to the issues associated with shippers.

If you have a feedback rating of less than 5, please contact me prior to bidding.

The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the advertisement at anytime.

Thank you for looking and please have a great day.

Ring-a-ding-a-ding-ding goes Schwantz's RGV500

Wed, 02 Sep 2009

LISTEN IN as veteran Suzuki GP mechanics warm-up Kevin Schwantz's title-winning RGV500, prior to his demonstration ride at Indianapolis Raceway last weekend. The former 500cc Champion lapped the Grand Prix circuit, while waving to the crowd. He even popped the odd wheelie.

2014 WSBK – Assen Results

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.

Suzuki Concludes MotoGP Test At Phillip Island

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The Suzuki MotoGP team concluded its three-day test at Phillip Island in Australia today after rain and less-than-perfect track conditions hampered much of the progress the riders and technicians hoped to make. Test rider Randy De Puniet was joined by Voltcom Crescent Suzuki World Superbike rider Eugene Laverty for the first two days; unfortunately suffering a crash early on the first day due to the slippery and damp conditions. However the Irishman was able to complete 37 laps yesterday despite inclement weather that halted much of the testing on every day; and which included a large amount of geese on the circuit obstructing every session.
