1978 Suzuki GS 1000 in very nice original condition. It has been well kept and was one of the fastest motorcycle in 1978. Collectability is right around the corner as they are getting harder to find. It starts and runs great and it shifts and stops fine. They aren't collectable like the GT's but around the corner as they are staring to be bought up. The motorcycle is for sale locally also. Suzuki Suspends Operations at Chinese Factory Over Anti-Japan Sentiments

Suzuki has suspended production at one of its motorcycle factories in China as Anti-Japanese protests sweep across the Asian nation. Tensions between China and Japan flared up in late August after the Japanese government announced plans to buy a handful of uninhabited but strategically useful islands. Both nations, as well as Taiwan, claim ownership of the islands, known as the Senkaku Islands to Japan and the Diaoyu Islands to China.
