Suzuki DR-Z description
Bike is in great condition. Just put tires on it 600 miles ago. Brand new battery at the beginning of April. It's ready to ride. Oil changed regularly with oem oil filter. Clean title in hand. NO rust at all on the bike. Garage kept. Bike has some very small blemishes in the plastics but not very noticeable, also there is scuff marks on the inner part of the exhaust shown in the pictures(was like that when purchased). It has never been dropped. I meticulously took care of it.
There is no issues at all with the bike, It is ready to go. Has fmf slip on exhaust, handle bar risers and low profile turn signals. Other than that the bike is stock. Feel free to send me a message on any questions. If your local and want to come check it out let know. PICK UP ONLY. |

2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 – Gixxer Thou Updated with a Focus on Weight Savings
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Suzuki has updated its GSX-R1000 sportbike for 2012 with Brembo monobloc calipers and a new single-pipe exhaust system. Last updated in 2009, the 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 also receives a number of updates to the the engine to the wiring harness to even the front tire to to reduce overall weight by 4.4 pounds. The new GSX-R has a claimed curb weight of 447.5 pounds.
Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.
