Suzuki RM-Z450 Giveaway for New Ricky Carmichael Video Game

Motocross racing legend Ricky Carmichael and 2XL Games are giving away a Suzuki RM-Z450 in a promotion for their new video game. The Suzuki RM-Z450 is the grand prize for the Ride Like A Pro Sweeps contest in support of the new “Ricky Carmichael’s Motocross Matchup Pro” game for iOS, Android and PCs. 2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
