Suzuki Reports Q3 2012-2013 Results
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Suzuki‘s motorcycle operations posted more disappointing numbers in the company’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2012. The company reported sales of 600,000 motorcycles for the quarter, down 11% from the 674,000 units sold in the same period the year before.

American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
