Suzuki Boulevard tech info
Suzuki Boulevard description
2008 Suzuki Boulevard M109r , Great condition. Black. Stock. No issues. Just over 5k miles. Registration good through June '14. Bought from RideNow Powersports a little over a year ago, after full inspection. Only ridden about 1500 miles. I'm selling it because it's just too much bike for a 1st time father. There is no cruising on this cruiser! This bike is a beast. The Boulevard M109Rs exhilarating performance begins with its 109-cubic-inch, fuel injected V-twin engine. It's tuned to produce massive torque all the way from idle to redline, which translates into acceleration that you have to feel to believe - and makes this the most powerful cruiser Suzuki has ever produced. By injecting the Boulevard M109R with a potent shot of race-proven technology developed for the championship-winning GSX-R sport bikes, Suzuki has literally redefined the concept of a cruiser. Fuel injected V-twin engine. Engine: 4-stroke, V-twin, DOHC, 8-valves displacement 1,783 cc bore x stroke 112 x 90.5 mm compression ratio 10.5:1. Fuel system: Fuel injection, tank capacity 5.2 gal. Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise
Fri, 09 Dec 2011After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.
John Reynolds on the latest Gixers, BSB and Loose Women
Tue, 21 Feb 2012When John Reynolds was pushing me hard in the late nineties for BSB titles he was always polite and would happily stop to chew the fat and talk about the weather. But that was the limit of our friendship as he never wanted to like rivals too much, just in case it affected his competitive edge. These days, he has no great desire to barge me off the track at Redgate or Cascades so when our paths cross we happily spend time sorting out the problems of the world.
