The key to the C109Rs performance is its 109-cubic-inch engine with Suzuki fuel injection- the same basic powerplant used by the awesome M109R, which traces its technological heritage to Suzukis championship winning GSX-R supersport bikes. One ride on the C109R and youll notice that it boasts its own power characteristics, with more torque down low for extraordinary acceleration. The C109R establishes its own identity with its styling. Suzuki Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results
Mon, 06 Feb 2012Suzuki motorcycle business back to operating at a loss despite being making it profit over the first six months. In November, Suzuki reported its second consecutive profitable quarter from its motorcycle segment, with a net profit of 300 million yen over the six months ended Sept. 30, 2011.
2013 Yoshimura Limited Edition GSX-Rs
Mon, 10 Jun 2013A recent visit to the Yoshimura facility in Chino, CA, provided us an in-person peak at the company’s 2013 limited edition GSX-R. The burgundy red and black with metal flake and gold pin striping color scheme is both striking and sophisticated while subtle details such as the Yoshimura radiator stencil heighten its visual appeal. And these bikes are seriously limited – only 45 examples will be produced. Introduced last year Yoshimura says the response from Suzuki dealers and consumers alike has been nothing short of phenomenal. The 45 bikes produced this year will be a combination of 600, 750 and 1000cc models and the mix determined by dealer demand.
2014 AMA Supercross – San Diego Results
Mon, 10 Feb 2014James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win of the season, leading all 20 laps before a crowd of 56,828 fans at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider becomes the fourth different winner of the season in the 450 class through six rounds. The news was less positive for last week’s winner Chad Reed.
