2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109r , 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109R, Innovative and classic design combines the clean, sweeping good looks of a classic cruiser with high performance provided by Suzuki advanced technology. The engine is a 1,783 cc (108.8 cu in), four-valve DOHC, 54-degree, liquid-cooled, fuel injected V-twin. It has a bore and stroke of 112.0 mm 90.5 mm (4.41 in 3.56 in). Each bore is lined with Suzuki's SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material) to aid heat transfer, improve piston-to-cylinder clearances and reduce weight. The engine has electronic fuel injection system with 52 mm throttle bodies and dual spark plugs.The transmission is five speed. Tue, 21 Jun 2011Official photographs and details of the updated 2012 Suzuki V-Strom have emerged as the Japanese manufacturer continues its prolonged teaser campaign to hype its “New Middle-Class Motorcycle”. Indeed, the latest teaser is expected later today but images and specifications on the updated Wee-Strom have emerged from Suzuki’s global site. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 will again be powered by a SV650-derived 90-degree V-Twin engine with a displacement of 645cc.

Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points.
