$8,000 for a practically new 2006 Suzuki M109R. The bikes color is Burple (pearl mixture of blue and purple) when light reflects off the bike it will appear either blue or dark purple. The Burple color was made in limited quantities in 2006 so you will be hard pressed to find another bike of this color in the sea of bikes in the parking lot. CONDITION: The bike is in immaculate condition; it has been garage kept and never dropped or ridden in the rain. MAINTENANCE: Bike has been taken to local Suzuki dealership for all scheduled maintenance and recalls. CUSTOMIZATIONS: Removed all the Suzuki badges. Removed the rear fender. Wed, 23 May 2012You've probably seen the video of Simon Crafar smoking up the 2012 GSX-R1000 at Almeria. Impressive stuff. Suzuki are (correct me if I'm wrong) the last manufacturer of an inline four superbike not to offer it with some sort of electronic rider aids.
2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Recalled for Defective Drive Chain
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Suzuki Motor of America announced a recall on the 2014 V-Strom 650 ABS because of a problem with the drive chain. As of this writing, the recall campaign has not been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect this to be done shortly. Meanwhile north of the border, a similar recall has been announced for the 2014 Suzuki GSX650FA by Transport Canada describing a similar problem.
Suzuki Provides Aid Following Chinese Earthquake
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Suzuki is providing 10 million yen (US$100,500) in aid to the Red Cross Society to provide support for those affected by the April 20 earthquake in China’s Sichuan province. Suzuki‘s pledge is in addition to 1 million RMB (US$161,000) donated by Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., a Suzuki joint venture with China’s Changan Group. The region in southwestern China was hit by a major tremor at about 8 o’clock in the morning, local time.
