Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test

Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.

Suzuki Recursion Concept – Turbocharged 588cc Claims 99 hp and 74 ft-lb.

Suzuki has released new images of its turbocharged Recursion concept. Revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the Recursion, along with Kawasaki’s supercharged inline-Four engine herald a return to forced induction motorcycles last commonly seen in the ’80s. According to Suzuki, the Recursion’s 588cc parallel-Twin engine with an intercooler turbo produces 99 hp at 8000 rpm while also claiming 74 ft-lb.
