Suzuki Bandit description
I bought her not even a year ago from somebody on craiglist with 14.6K miles for $2000, replaced the gas tank, got the carbs cleaned, and I replaced the radiator cap to get her up and running smoothly, but unfortunately i'm relocating to Philadelphia I need to sell it because I need a 4-wheel drive car for the snow. She's reliable and she will get you where you need to go. Also as a bonus I will throw in my helmet, gloves, and jacket (seeing as how I won't need it anymore). Mon, 09 Jul 2012If you miss seeing factory two stroke racing machinery being ridden properly then you should consider a trip to the Spa classic event in 2013. I was the lucky recipient of an invitation to ride there last week and had a blast riding some tasty kit from the past. I went well at Spa in 250cc GPs but the circuit scared me on the 500s.
2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Recalled for Defective Drive Chain
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Suzuki Motor of America announced a recall on the 2014 V-Strom 650 ABS because of a problem with the drive chain. As of this writing, the recall campaign has not been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect this to be done shortly. Meanwhile north of the border, a similar recall has been announced for the 2014 Suzuki GSX650FA by Transport Canada describing a similar problem.
Suzuki to Join MotoGP Test at Catalunya
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Suzuki plans to take part in the mid-June MotoGP test at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. If all goes according to plan, the June 17 test, which follows the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season, will mark the first time a Suzuki MotoGP bike has shared the track with the prototypes from rival manufacturers Ducati, Honda and Yamaha since 2011. When Suzuki announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing in 2011, the Japanese manufacturer said it planned to return for the 2014 season.
