2000 Suzuki Bandit , Really nice 2000 Suzuki Bandit 600. 2000 was the year they revamped this model with several improvements. Very well maintained, oil changed regularly, chain lubed regularly, etc. Set up for touring. Custom parts include Hindle exhaust, heated grips, tall windscreen, tank bra, Corbin seat. New chain. Tires still good for 6,000 miles. Original parts included with sale. 30,000 miles. All black and a little chrome. Very sweet looking, smooth riding bike. No issues. $2,400.00

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory

The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.
