Suzuki Bandit description

I got this bike for my partner, hoping she would want to ride it but she hasn't been into it so I want to move it before it ends up sitting for the winter. A great little bike, and very easy to get around on. A rare find--and runs like a charm.  The bike is clean, never been dropped, however does have a few scuffs from normal wear and tear--you can see those in the photos.  We bought it just 6 months ago and this is what has been done to it by the previous owner:

--Carbs have been completely rebuilt with all new O-rings, gaskets, float valves and a Factory Pro Stage 1 kit. Stock intake and exhaust.

--Fuel tank cleaned and epoxy sealed with Caswell kit (will never rust again).

--Manual cam tensioner installed

--valves adjusted

--new spark plug and ignition wires

--New brake pads (HH pads front, organic rear) and brake fluid flushed.

--New Pirelli Angel sport touring tires with less than 1000 miles on them (check out the reviews!)

--Radiator flushed and high temp thermostat installed

--New headlight

--Has an aftermarket windshield (see photo) Slipstream sports shield.

It has a pretty low seat height, I am 5'7" and my knees have a bend when flat-footed.  I'm guessing a 29"- 30" seat height although I haven't measured.  Easy to control, fun in the corners and just an all around great bike.  I would keep it but I prefer my Bandit 1200 for touring.  A few little extras to go with it such as an air filter, a few spark plugs and a the spare set of rear signal lights.  The ones that came with it were tiny.  While they looked nice, you couldn't see them on the freeway so I installed some nice white ones (orange bulb) that are just a bit bigger and easier to see.  Great looking and mechanically sound--clean title.  Thanks for looking.

Prefer local buyer--if not buyer arranges and pays for their own shipping.

Suzuki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

Suzuki made headlines earlier this week when its American subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 and announced it is quitting the automobile business to focus on motorcycles and its marine operations. American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. Today, Suzuki released its report for the first half of its 2012-2013 fiscal year, providing much needed context to the earlier news.
