Suzuki RM tech info

Suzuki RM description
Super Clean 1998 Suzuki RM 250 for sale. I bought this bike 5 years ago from the 1st owner who bought it brand new and parked it in his garage. Its only been trail ridden by me for the past 5 years.
Meticulously maintained, cleaned and detailed after every ride. Cylinder removed, cleaned and inspected every winter. Exhaust valve taken apart and cleaned also. Runs awesome, needs nothing, completely ready to ride right down to a fresh oil change and clean air cleaner. Just fire it up and go rip. Bike is stock, besides exhaust and jets and air cleaner. Brand new FMF fatty pipe just installed. Re-jetted and tuned to perfection. New clutch installed, didn't need it, OEM clutch was still in spec, comes with the bike. Newer brake pads and rotors front and back. Has the beefy 50mm conventional forks, awesome for off road riding. Hand guards, clamp-on grips, skid plate. Forks rebuilt last year, new seals, bushings, Suzuki fork oil. Steering stem bearings re-greased and adjusted, brake fluid changed a few seasons ago. Comes with lots of extra parts and Suzuki service owners manual. The plastics have minor scratches from normal woods riding and the decals have a few flaws. Rear disc guard is cracked also. Rims are not perfect, a few dings, nothing bad, spokes are all tight and working good. This is an awesome 2-stroke beast of a bike, VERY FAST! Not for beginners. I don't want to ship the bike, I really think its better if you come look at it and then buy it and take it with you. I'm very confident you will like it, but its my policy to look at a bike in person before I buy it just in case, and I want my buyers to do the same. I have the Title signed over to me by the 1st owner, never put it in my name because I didn't have a need to. Any questions feel free to ask. |

2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000 Review – First Ride
Fri, 25 Mar 2022Cleaner, greener, more civilized but even meaner Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing It’s always fun to read the armchair quarterbackings of our beloved MOrons in the Comments whenever a new motorcycle springs into view, and the latest iteration of Suzuki’s naked GSX-S1000, harumph, was no exception. Some hate the angular new styling, some defend it. Some lament the demise of Suzuki in general, some admire the company’s resourcefulness in doing less with more.
Parallel-Twin Suzuki V-Strom and SV650 Successors Spied
Thu, 01 Sep 2022We dare you, Suzuki: call it the P-Strom Credit: Photos by BMH-Images Spy photographers have snapped images of two new Suzuki prototypes powered by a new Parallel-Twin engine. The two motorcycles, an adventure bike and a naked model, appear to be the eventual successors to the V-Strom 650 and SV650, and the culmination of a long development path for Suzuki’s new middleweight twin-cylinder engine. The 645cc engine powering the V-Strom and SV650 has long been one of our favorites, but having only received updates to keep them compliant with emissions standards, the liquid-cooled V-Twin has been getting quite long in the tooth.
Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
