Suzuki PE 175 description

1978 SUZUKI PE 175 MOTORCYCLE CURRENTLY NOT WORKING.  PARTS ARE IN BOX FOR THE TRANSMISSION AND NEED REASSEMBLED AND COME WITH BIKE PURCHASE.  THE BIKE IS AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES.  THIS BIKE WAS PURCHASED NEW FOR MYSELF BY MY FATHER IN 1978 WHILE I WAS IN HIGH SHCOOL.  IT RAN FINE LAST TIME IT WAS USED AND THERE WAS A SHIFTING PROBLEM SO I TOOK IT APART AND NEVER WAS ABLE TO HAVE THE TIME OR ABILITY TO REASSEMBLE.  THERE IS SOME AFTERMARKET PARTS AND THE HEAD WAS CHANGED AND THE PORTS POLISHED AND THE BIKE AND THE BIKE WAS IN RACE READY CONDITION.  IT WAS NEVER RACED OTHER THAN AGAINST MY TWIN BROTHER WHO HAD AN IDENTICAL PE 175. I WAS HOPING TO KEEP AN RESTORE ONE DAY, BUT THE WIFE SAYS IT MUST GO.

Eugene Laverty Talks Suzuki MotoGP Testing

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

In this diary entry, Voltcom Crescent Suzuki’s Eugene Laverty reflects on a busy three weeks that saw him visit Suzuki HQ in Hamamatsu in Japan, test the Suzuki MotoGP machine in Okayama and Phillip Island; and then race to a podium position at the Sepang World Superbike round in Malaysia. The past few weeks have been one hell of an adventure. The trip started out in Donington for the British round of the World Superbike Championship and from there I travelled directly to Japan for my debut test on Suzuki’s MotoGP prototype.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
