 SUZUKI TS400 APACHE 1972. ORIGINAL 1972 TS400 APACHE WITH 6405 ORIGINAL MILES. THIS IS NOT A RESTORED BIKE, OR A ONE OWNER MUSEUM PIECE, AND NO THIS WAS NOT DRIVEN TO CHURCH ON SUNDAYS ONLY BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. (NOT A MINT SHOW BIKE LETS BE CLEAR) BIKE IS ORIGINAL AND WAS RIDDEN. BIKE HAS A NEW PISTON AND RINGS 1ST OVER. THE BIKE IS EXTREMELY COMPLETE. THE BIKE IS LACKING THE FOLLOWING: NEEDS A HEADLAMP, A HEADLAMP HIGH LOW SLIDER SWITCH, A TRIP KNOB FOR THE SPEEDOMETER ODOMETER, AND NEEDS A COUPLE OF BANJOS BOLTS FOR THE OIL LINE IF YOU WANT TO USE THE OIL INJECTION PUMP. THE OIL LINE WILL BE INCLUDED. THE BIKE IS CURRENTLY OPERATING ON PRE MIX. THE FRONT FENDER HAS THE TYPICAL STRESS CRACKS UP BY THE BRACKET, THE FUEL TANK HAS A COUPLE OF DENTS, THE SEAT HAS A FEW MINOR PUNCTURE TYPE PIN HOLES ALONG THE EDGES, SOME OF THE CHROME ON THE BIKE IS CHALLENGED AND WILL HAVE TO BE REPLATED IF YOU ARE INTENDING ON A RESTORATION SO TO SPEAK, THE TIRES ARE THE ORIGINAL TRIALS TIRES. THE FRONT IS SHOWING SOME SIDE CRACKING FROM 41 YEARS OF AGE. THE MOTOR IS DAMAGE FREE. NO CHIPPED OR MISSING CYLINDER FINS OR REPAIRS. THE COMPRESSION RELEASE IS INTACT AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL. PIPE ON THE BIKE IS PERFECT WITH NO DENTS OR CRUSH MARKS AND HAS THE FACTORY SKID PLATE INTACT. THE RIMS ON THE BIKE ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE CHAIN GUARD IS NOT SHOWN ON THE BIKE, BUT WILL BE INCLUDED. I LAST STARTED THE BIKE ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO. IF YOU CHARGE UP THE BATTERY AND CLEAN THE CARB YOU CAN TAKE IT FOR A RIDE. YOU MAY NOT EVEN NEED TO CLEAN THE CARB. THE BIKE RUNS OUT AND SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A BIKE TO RIDE ON THE TRAILS THIS IS PERFECT. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A BIKE TO RESTORE TO FACTORY STANDARDS THIS IS ALSO PERFECT AS THERE IS LITTLE THAT THE BIKE IS MISSING. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND SEE WHAT IT IS YOU ARE BIDDING ON. Last weekend's Superstock 1000 race at Donington British Superbikes was a belter. PJ Jacobsen, all the way of the USA, was riding the Tyco Suzuki and took the fight to former Superstock 600 champion and TT racer Lee Johnston. The duo cleared off from the rest of the pack.
