Suzuki Other description

2001 TL1000r with only 7238 miles on it. I ride it every once in awhile so it may get a couple extra miles. I bought this bike from a friend of mine who purchased it new. This is no beginners bike, it has a lot of torque and very fast. There are not many of these bikes around.

All the fluids where just changed (oil, front and rear brake fluid, Clutch fluid, and Coolant with new fan temp sensor that turns the fans on around 200F instead of 220f). New factory spark plugs just installed. New 200mm rear tire, have the front to match just not installed yet. Bike is lowered and stretched 8 inches. Swing arm was done by Garwood Custom Cycles in Lexington NC. New chain and sprockets, rear sprocket +2.

Bike has RC Components wheels, Power Commander 2, TRE, K&N air filter, and full Yoshimura exhaust. New battery this year with battery tender installed. I do have the passenger seat and cover.

Have stock swing arm and lowering link to put back to stock

2004-2013 Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes Recalled for Master Cylinder Replacement

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Suzuki is recalling 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 sportbikes as well as GSX-R1000 models from 2005-2013 because of a problem with their front brake master cylinders. As of publication, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not officially announced any recalls because of the federal government work stoppage, but notices have been sent out to dealerships across the U.S. Meanwhile, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has posted a recall, and we expect to see further news to come from other markets.

2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000 Review – First Ride

Fri, 25 Mar 2022

Cleaner, greener, more civilized but even meaner Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing It’s always fun to read the armchair quarterbackings of our beloved MOrons in the Comments whenever a new motorcycle springs into view, and the latest iteration of Suzuki’s naked GSX-S1000, harumph, was no exception. Some hate the angular new styling, some defend it. Some lament the demise of Suzuki in general, some admire the company’s resourcefulness in doing less with more.
