For sale here is a 1999 SUZUKI TL1000R in show room condition. This motorcycle is absolutely stock, never molested. 2 owner history, both physicians, myself being the 2nd. Bike has NEVER been abused. Only 12K miles on the clock, at least 3K of which have been highway travel while moving for residency training. This motorcycle needs absolutely nothing. No joy rides, no tire kickers. Bike is perfect. 2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
Knee-high land-speed record device
Wed, 28 Jul 2010This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.
