I'm posting this ad.......for my 'Old Army Buddy' of 30yrs........He has a very nice 1988 Suzuki 'Calvacade' 1400cc motorcycle,that he's finally decided to sell.......It was for him, and his wife.....who passedaway last year........and this bike really hasn't been pre-owned much, for the past few years.That's 1 reason the mileage is so low.......it has only 51k (actual miles!)...It's pretty loaded up with options.......including stereo, C.B. Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer
Wed, 20 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
