2012 Suzuki GW250 – Baby B-King the Flagship Model for Chinese Market

Presented at the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor 2011), Suzuki GW250 will be produced in China first for the domestic market but will later be exported to Europe, Indonesia and Central and South America. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
Suzuki Reports Q1 2013-2014 Results
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Suzuki reported an 18.5% increase in net sales from its motorcycle business in its first quarter ended June 30, 2013. Suzuki reports sales of 70.5 billion yen (US$710.1 million) from its motorcycle business, an increase from 59.5 billion yen reported in the same quarter last year. Unfortunately, despite increasing revenue, Suzuki’s motorcycle operations still remains in the red, operating at a loss of 2.7 billion yen (US$27.2 million) compared to a loss of 3.5 billion yen in the first quarter last year.
