Episode 2 moves to Twin Ring Motegi in Japan in April and May where MotoGP rider Randy De Puniet joins the team as test rider and Davide Brivio is appointed as Suzuki MotoGP Test Team Manager; with first interviews with both rider and manager. Mon, 23 Sep 2013The big news from Suzuki this past weekend was preview and release of specs for the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 in France at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Slightly overshadowed however was the official unveiling of two new Burgman scooters with 125cc and 200cc engines. European consumers have had the Burgman 200 and Burgman 125 (perennially one of the top selling scoots in Europe) for more than a decade now while here in North America, we’ve only have the larger Burgman 650 model.
Suzuki GSX-R1000 Sportbike Gets New VVT System
Tue, 29 Jan 2019Suzuki has adopted the SR-VVT (Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing) system on the 2017 GSX-R1000. A centrifugal drive system is integrated into the intake gear and adjacent guide plate. It features 12 steel balls and slant grooves to rotate and synchronize the intake valve at a predetermined RPM for increased power at high RPMs.
