The Suzuki V-Strom 1000, also known as the DL1000, is a Touring motorcycle. It has a 996 cc V-twin engine and offers an ergonomic upright seating position. It has been manufactured in Japan by Suzuki since 2002. The name V-Strom combines V referring to the bikes engine configuration with the German Strom, meaning stream or current. Fri, 22 Mar 2013American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.

His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.
