Turbocharged Suzuki Recursion Concept Announced for Tokyo Motor Show

Of the Big Four Japanese manufacturers, Suzuki has been the most stagnant in recent years as it tries to recover from the economic downturn, offering fewer product updates and new models than Honda, Kawasaki or Yamaha. 2013 AMA Supercross Daytona Race Report

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth main event race of the year at Daytona to take over the lead in the 2013 AMA Supercross championship standings. The win is the third at Daytona in the Monster Energy Kawasaki racer’s career, matching the totals set by Bob Hannah, Mike Kiedrowski, Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed. Only Ricky Carmichael, who designed the sand-based Daytona track, holds more Supercross wins at Daytona with five victories.

Suzuki Hit with $885,000 Penalty and Other Sanctions by EPA

American Suzuki has agreed to a number of sanctions including an $885,000 penalty for importing ATVs and off-road motorcycles that do not meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency‘s emission control standards. The EPA and Suzuki negotiated the monetary penalty as well as other sanctions for the 25,396 units of the 2006-2009 LT-R450 ATV and the 62 units of the 2010 RMX450Z.
