2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50T Classic Announced

During Suzuki’s annual dealer meeting the company reported that cruiser sales at large are down 6.2% YTD. However, Suzuki says its cruiser sales are up 12.5%, and in an effort to keep riding this wave that’s handily outpacing the rest of the cruiser market, the company announced the addition of the Boulevard C50T Classic. While the Classic is a carbon copy of the C50T, it does away with the C50T’s standard windshield, passenger backrest and saddlebags.

Suzuki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results

Suzuki made headlines earlier this week when its American subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 and announced it is quitting the automobile business to focus on motorcycles and its marine operations. American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
