Suzuki Other description

2007 Suzuki Burgman 400, Here is economy at it's best. An extremely economical yet quick and good looking ride. This scooter is in excellent condition and factory stock except for two added running lights in the lower front of the fairing. This is a fantastic deal on a great scooter. The 2007 Burgman 400 displays a sportier-looking front fascia that is similar to Suzuki motorcycles with its streamlined headlights and two air intakes spaced wider apart. The taillights are nicely integrated to the fairing. What's more, the size of the exhaust system is impressive and features a chrome-trimmed thermal shield. Suzuki improved one of the greatest qualities of the Burgman 400 for 2007: the cut-away floorboards provide more space for the rider's legs when putting feet down. Even short riders will easily be able to keep this mount steady and balanced, with or without a rear passenger. You can either sit upright, or lay back a little and stretch your legs on the front footrests. Access to the rear passenger seat is easy and the footrests offer a comfortable riding position. The rear seat is higher than the front one, which ensures good visibility, and the side handles are easy to grip. The adjustable seatback provides good lumbar support. Up front, the controls are easy to read and to use their angle and brightness were revised so as to no longer generate awkward glares. The 2007 Burgman 400 is a king when it comes to storage. The new 62L under-seat storage compartment is the largest in its class and can conveniently hold two full-face helmets. Under the handlebars are two small asymetrical compartments (non lockable), perfect for your cell phone, pocket change or keys. Beneath them, you'll find a useful glovebox compartment with DC-electrical accessory outlet and ideal size to stow a 500-mL water bottle, roadmaps, etc. Engineers modified the handlebars and the overall balance of the Burgman 400 so you no longer feel the weight of the bike when pivoting the front wheel at idle. City riding has been improved: this scooter is nimble and the rearview mirrors are ideally positioned to offer good overall visibility. And thanks to the integrated electronic antitheft alarm system, you don't have to worry about parking the big Suzuki on the side of the street. This scooter is easy and fun to ride both in the city and on the highway, while offering above-average storage and performance levels that will satisfy most people looking for a great bike to ride and help them with their daily duties.

Yoshimura GSX1250FA EEC Approved Slip-On End-Can

Tue, 16 Feb 2010

JAPANESE TUNING house Yoshimura has released a series of EEC-approved Slip-On exhausts suitable for the Suzuki Bandit GSF1250SA and the new fully-faired Suzuki GSX1250FA.At over 3kgs lighter than the OE Suzuki item, each Yoshimura Slip-On comes with the pipe work to mount to the standard front section plus all parts (including muffler clamp) required for installation. The EEC-approved silencer features two dB-killer baffles, one in the link pipe, one in the can and when both are removed power and torque are increased over stock, claim Yoshimura. With full EEC silencing both torque and power curves are identical to the standard output, but a dB-Killer in the link-pipe when used with an open exhaust gives solid gains, the company say.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-177-5L50 (Stainless Steel)    3.4kg  £597.751A0-177-5L80 (Titanium)              3.2kg  £666.731A0-177-5L81B (Titan Blue)*       3.2kg  £747.191A0-177-5L20 (Metal Magic)        3.4kg  £689.72For more information on this or any other Yoshimura product contact 01782 569800 or visit www.phoenixnw.co.uk to find your nearest dealer.
