Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend

American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.

The second programme in the Suzuki MotoGP development video documentary series is now live. Episode 2 moves to Twin Ring Motegi in Japan in April and May where MotoGP rider Randy De Puniet joins the team as test rider and Davide Brivio is appointed as Suzuki MotoGP Test Team Manager; with first interviews with both rider and manager. Suzuki Recursion Concept – Turbocharged 588cc Claims 99 hp and 74 ft-lb.

Suzuki has released new images of its turbocharged Recursion concept. Revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the Recursion, along with Kawasaki’s supercharged inline-Four engine herald a return to forced induction motorcycles last commonly seen in the ’80s. According to Suzuki, the Recursion’s 588cc parallel-Twin engine with an intercooler turbo produces 99 hp at 8000 rpm while also claiming 74 ft-lb.
