The JR50 is ideal for first-time riders and makes learning to ride easy and fun for even the smallest riders. The two-stroke, air-cooled engine and single-speed automatic transmission creates the perfect learning environment for young riders. The combo allows kids to focus on riding without having to fumble with a clutch. Other convenient features on the JR50 include a heat-shielded, spark-arrester-equipped muffler and Suzuki CCI oil injection, which does away with pre-mixing fuel. The RM-inspired graphics and Champion Yellow bodywork provide big-bike looks while the integrated seat and fuel tank allow the rider to move around while riding. A height-adjustable seat means the machine grows with the rider and ensures years of enjoyable off-road riding.

Suzuki announced its 2013 motocross lineup including an updated RM-Z450 and RM-Z250. Both receive engine updates, new transmissions and new suspension. Unlike competitors Honda and Kawasaki however, Suzuki did not equip its motocross bikes with Kayaba‘s new pneumatic spring forks.

Honda TT Legends racer John McGuinness won his 18th career TT race, capturing the Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2012 Isle of Man TT. McGuinness is second on the all-time Isle of Man TT wins list behind the late Joey Dunlop who has 26. McGuinness was aided by two very quick and efficient pit stops by his crew.

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
