Suzuki Other description

Up for sale is my 2001 TL1000R. For those who dont know this is a V-twin Super Bike. They are very fast, extremely torquey and you cant beat the V-twin sound. This is my 2nd TL and Im sure Ill have another one down the road. The only reason this bike is for sale is because I bought a Big Dog Chopper this winter and have only ridden the TL a couple times this season and she deserves to be ridden and displayed. I had no intentions on selling the bike so in the last 1k miles or so it has had new tires put on (front and rear) new brakes installed (front and rear) and the valves have been adjusted (routine maintenance that many guys dont do). While the dealership was in the motor adjusting the valves I also had new plugs put in. I made sure they checked everything while adjusting the valves and I was told everything looks great and I should have no problems gettting another 40-60k miles out of her. As the bike sits right now it has 20,885 miles (if I rememeber right) which may go up since I plan on getting a little more riding in on her before shes gone. Im also planning on taking it to the shop this week just to have them give her a once over before a new owner takes over. As you can see in the pics the bike is in great shape and youd be hard pressed to even find a scratch on it. Some of the aftermarket parts include a full Leo Vance exhaust, flush mounted signals in the rear mounted in the tail section, aftermarket signals up front, tinted windscreen, fener eliminator, clear taillight, tank pad, and it has the pegs in the swing arms if you wanted to use stand like in the picture. Im sure there is more but thats all I can remember right now. The only noticebale stuff on the bike is a little burnt stuff on the right exhaust pipe before the muffler (something must have spilled on it when it was hot but Im working on getting it off) and you may want to install new grips soon I was planning on doing that this season. Like I said I never had any intention on selling this bike so it has been well taken care of and is ready to ride with no issues what so ever. I have a clean and clear Indiana title in my hand. Also I am not looking for any trades since Im already stock piled with other toys/projects. NADA average retail on this bike is about $4200 and Im asking $4200 o.b.o. which is a deal since I can just about guarantee this is one of the cleanest best running and maintained TLs in the area. If you plan on test driving the bike you better bring $4200 cash and once its in my hand you can take the bike for a spin. You wreck it you buy it.  I will also assist in shipping anyway that I can.  Thanks for looking and feel free to email me or call/text with any questions 219-508-4626 and the names Matt

Work on Suzuki’s 1000cc MotoGP project is apparently proceeding as planned, with the manufacturer reportedly ready to join official testing during the upcoming season.

Last weekend's Superstock 1000 race at Donington British Superbikes was a belter. PJ Jacobsen, all the way of the USA, was riding the Tyco Suzuki and took the fight to former Superstock 600 champion and TT racer Lee Johnston. The duo cleared off from the rest of the pack.
