Named the "Ducati Killer" by major motorcycle magazines, Suzuki shocked the
motorcycle world when they unveiled the TL 1000 in 1997. Even though the early bikes
were not as refined as the later years models - they compared favorably to Suzuki's own
amazing GSXR with professional riders preferring the TL 1000's nimble handling and wide
power band. Later models improved on this with the most desirable and
refined TL 1000 S being the 2001 model.
This 2001 Suzuki TL 1000 is in very good to excellent condition.
Runs and drives like a new bike. Only 5550 original miles.
All original except for new tires and a Yoshimura exhaust.
The battery is brand new sealed type and the seat was professionally recovered this spring.
No accidents, never down. Paint shines well and no fading.
Normal wear as to be expected - a few minor scratches. Tires have about 90% tread.
Starts right up and is an absolute blast to drive. Clear title.
